Two new reports have been published by the Directorate-General for Research & Innovation concerning the cooperation with the Mediterranean Partner Countries in the field of research and innovation. The reports coincide with the "Euro-Mediterranean Conference for Research and Innovation: An agenda for a renewed partnership", which took place on 2-3 April 2012 in Barcelona, Spain.
The first publication provides summaries of all the FP7 projects which include at least one partner from the Mediterranean Partner Countries. The projects are organised into 11 chapters by research theme and project type, which includes collaborative research, networking, infrastructure, and mobility projects.
The second publication is entitled: ‘Investing in European Success: Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation in Research and Innovation'. This showcases selected examples of these projects in more detail, in areas such as forestry, fisheries, water, and viticulture. The Mediterranean Partner Countries are currently: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestinian administrated areas, Syrian Arab Republic and Tunisia.
