Innovation Management Training Course


The European Association of Erasmus Coordinators in cooperation with the European Office of Cyprus and the Thales Foundation organize the 3-days Training Course “Innovation Management”

The training programme will be carried out by Oxford University Innovation (Isis Enterprise), the commercialisation and technology transfer company of the University of Oxford.

Oxfort University Innovation relevant expertise includes the establishment of plans for research support organisations for client governments and universities, the development of consultancy services through the growth of Oxford University Consulting and the creation of 108 spin-outs and start-ups since 2000.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES

The intensive training course will build capacity broadly in the area of innovative business expertise for new entrepreneurs and will provide for the following key learning outcomes:

  • Adopt an increasingly entrepreneurial mindset
  • Comprehend the process of identifying, initiating and converting innovation into successful business
  • Build capabilities in business development strategies
  • Develop advanced critical awareness of business models and how to create them
  • Harness the Business Model Canvas and other business mapping methodologies for personal benefit
  • Understand how to map customer needs, pain points and gains how to utilise this understanding to design value propositions
  • Appreciate the critical roles of customers and partners in business models
  • Understand the crucial role of technology in enabling disruptive business strategies
  • Learn to use technology roadmaps to plan new sustainable business models
